Opened 2003 by Chris Simms, son of restaurant veteran Thomas Simms, founder of Mimi's Café this vast restaurant offers global cuisine on an ambitious scale at prices that will make you smile. The chefs menu is inspired by culinary tastes primarily from the USA, Italy, South America, China, and France—loud applause go out to the chef for providing semi-gourmet food at "make sense" prices. Be prepared for a bustling casual but nice restaurant with a comfy "Lazy-Dog" attitude about enjoying life.
Eclectic menu of appetizers (Hawaiian Ahi-Poke to Rocky Mountain wings), Hawaiian sticky ribs, wok platters, pastas, salads, sandwiches, burgers & gourmet home style entrees (Mom's pot roast, blue cheese rib eye, camp fire pot roast, lamb shank & fresh fish of the day. Don't forget their new healthy menu launched June 2012 all items less than 650 cal & delicious. Check out their 2-tiered kids menu (dog-bone pancakes, ice crème served in a doggy shaped bowl & kids must ask for their Licorice & Fruit Loop Dog Collar). Happy hour F-Wed 3-6 PM & 9-close (10-11 PM); 8-11 PM Thurs. Specials include $2-off pizza & appetizers $1-off draft beer. Family dining, breakfast, lunch & dinner, bar dining, patio dining with your dog. Strong beer selection includes Newcastle Brown Ale & Lazy Dog Hefeweizen Lager-excellent cocktails & specialty drinks (Jell-0 shots) all at very reasonable prices. Kid & dog friendly fun atmosphere, cuisine prices 0-$14, no reservations req, casual attire, M/C-Visa ok.

The ocean view terrace features 180 degree panoramic views and an open fire pit. The chef's presentation of their menu dishes is unbelievably beautiful; comprised of contemporary American Cuisine Spark in Huntington Beach prepares each dish on a special 1600 degree steak broiler or on a Hickory woodfire grill creating delicious and savory flavors in all meat, poultry and seafood dishes. In addition to its extensive wine list this Spark has become known for its 50+ different specialty martinis or wine by the glass.
In 2004 Spark Woodfire Grill opened in Beverly Hills, CA. Spark and its partners purchased a building giving them an opportunity to do something very special with the remodel and transformation of this location. After a year of design and construction, Spark opened a unique tri-level restaurant with 3 distinctive environments for dining and private parties. Spark Beverly Hills seats over 200 guests and accommodates up to 250 guests for special events/receptions.
